Whiskey Sangaree Recipe - How to make a Whiskey Sangaree
Ingredients for a Whiskey Sangaree
- Blended Whiskey
- Tawny Port
- Club Soda
- Water
- Superfine Sugar
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
Quantities for one drink:
- 1 1/2 oz Blended Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Tawny Port
- 2 1/2 oz Club Soda
- 2 tsp Water
- 1 tsp Superfine Sugar
- 1 Pinch Grated Nutmeg
- 1 Pinch Ground Cinnamon
Blending Instructions:
- Dissolve the sugar in the water and whiskey in a highball glass
- Almost fill the glass with crushed ice and add club soda
- Float tawny port on top
- Garnish with a lemon twist, and dust with nutmeg and cinnamon
- Serve
