Beltane Punch Recipe - How to make a Beltane Punch

Ingredients for a Beltane Punch

  • White Wine
  • Woodruff
  • Strawberries
  • Sugar

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1 Bottle White Wine
  • 1 Handful Sweet Woodruff
  • 2 Cups Fresh
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Blending Instructions:

  • Pour the wine into a punch bowl
  • Add sugar and woodruff (available through many wine-making suppliers), and stir lightly
  • Cover the mixture, and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight so the wine is infused with the herb's essence
  • Strain out the herb
  • Add strawberry slices and serve cold
  • This is a traditional punch to be served around May 1st, the Witch/Pagan Beltane or Walpurgas Night
