Ingredients for a Canadian Snake Bite

  • Sambuca
  • Tequila
  • Tabasco® Sauce

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1 oz Sambuca
  • 1 oz Tequila
  • 2 - 3 Dashes Tabasco® Sauce

Blending Instructions:

  • Pour the Sambuca into a brandy snifter and the tequila seperately into a rocks or old-fashioned glass
  • Add a couple dashes of Tabasco sauce to the glass with tequila
  • Roll the Sambuca around the snifter (like a cement mixer), ignite, and allow to burn for a second or two
  • Pour the Sambuca into the tequila rocks glass and cap it with the brandy snifter so as to extinguish the flames
  • This should form some smoke within the glasses
  • Carefully lift the snifter and inhale the fumes, then pound the tequila and Sambuca mixture
  • Packs a pretty good wallop
