Ingredients for a Beltane Punch- White Wine
- Woodruff
- Strawberries
- Sugar
Quantities for one drink:
- 1 Bottle White Wine
- 1 Handful Sweet Woodruff
- 2 Cups Fresh
- Sliced Strawberries
- 2 tsp Sugar
Blending Instructions:
- Pour the wine into a punch bowl
- Add sugar and woodruff (available through many wine-making suppliers), and stir lightly
- Cover the mixture, and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight so the wine is infused with the herb's essence
- Strain out the herb
- Add strawberry slices and serve cold
- This is a traditional punch to be served around May 1st, the Witch/Pagan Beltane or Walpurgas Night
